Privacy Policy

Perimeno ("we", "us") operates the Perimeno mobile application (the "App") and the website perimeno.io. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are. The short version: we collect only what the App needs to work, we never sell your data, and we never use your health data for advertising.

1. Data we collect

Account data. Your email address and password (stored as a secure hash), or your Apple identifier if you sign in with Apple, used to create and secure your account.

Health and tracking data you enter. Symptom check-ins, everyday factors, daily notes, and assessment responses you record in the App.

Apple Health data (optional). If you choose to connect Apple Health, the App reads sleep, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, and menstrual cycle data. This happens only after you explicitly grant permission, and you can revoke it at any time in the iPhone Health app. We never use Apple Health data for advertising or marketing, and we never share it with third parties for their own purposes.

Device and technical data. Device push token (if you enable notifications), device model, OS version, app version, and technical logs needed to keep the service running securely.

Website contact form. If you contact us via perimeno.io, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit, and use them solely to respond to you.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers. The App contains no ads and no third-party ad or tracking SDKs.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to provide the App's features (tracking, insights, library personalization), maintain and secure your account, send notifications you've enabled, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with data brokers. We do not use your health data to train advertising or profiling systems.

3. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process your data on the following bases: performance of a contract (providing the App), your explicit consent (health data and Apple Health integration, which you may withdraw at any time), legitimate interests (service security and support), and legal obligations.

4. Who processes your data

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements: cloud hosting and databases (Railway), website hosting and media storage (Cloudflare), transactional and support email (Resend), and push notification delivery (Apple, Expo). We share data with these providers only to the extent needed to run the service.

5. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (You → Delete account in the App), your account and health data are permanently deleted from our production systems, and residual copies are removed from backups within 30 days. Support correspondence is retained for up to 24 months.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can export or delete your data directly in the App, or contact us at customersupport@perimeno.io to exercise any of these rights. EEA/UK users also have the right to lodge a complaint with their data protection authority.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted and logged. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your health data with the sensitivity it deserves.

8. Children

Perimeno is intended for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. International transfers

Our servers are operated by providers that may process data in the United States and the European Union. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or by email. The current version is always available at perimeno.io/privacy.
