These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Perimeno mobile application and the website perimeno.io (together, the "Service"), operated by Perimeno ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. What Perimeno is — and isn't

Perimeno is an educational self-tracking tool for perimenopause and menopause. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Content in the App, including articles and insights, is for informational purposes only, describes patterns and general evidence, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified clinician about your symptoms, medications, and treatment options. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in the Service. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You may delete your account at any time in the App (You → Delete account).

3. Price of the Service

Perimeno is currently free to download and use. If we introduce paid features in the future, they will be clearly marked, priced in the App before any purchase, and governed by updated Terms announced in the App.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service: no attempting to breach security, reverse engineer the App, scrape or bulk-download content, use the Service to build a competing dataset, or use it in any unlawful way.

5. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the data you enter into the App. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We never sell your data.

6. Our content

The App, its design, and its editorial content are owned by Perimeno and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your own non-commercial use. You may not republish or redistribute our content without written permission.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perimeno shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing affects statutory consumer rights in your country of residence.

8. Changes and termination

We may update the Service and these Terms; material changes will be announced in the App. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.
